Pitch Sessions & Educational Breakouts

Participants may attend two Educational Breakout sessions

The Most Important Leadership Tool: A Mirror with Holly Landau

We all have a natural leadership style. Leadership starts with you and your ability to understand your leadership style and the strengths and challenges that go along with it.  When you understand your style, you can look for clues to better understand those around you, and how to influence and motivate them.  Join us for a fun and informative breakout session that will help you define and refine your leadership style!

Bare Bones Business Basics: Using your Financials to make better, faster, more profitable decisions with Ellen Rohr

Where do you learn business basics?  Probably not in school!  It’s OK if you don’t know your assets from your liabilities.  In this rockin’ workshop, you will dive into the numbers and the financial reports… the keys to making money!  We’ll address the real reasons you aren’t as financially successful as you’d like to be, and show how to manage your business from a one page document.  P.S.  If you are a financial whiz, this class can help you share your knowledge, and teach your  kids, parents, business associates, friends – how to make money, too!

Social Media 2.0 with Anita Campbell: Growing Your Business Through Social Media

So you have a Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, and LinkedIn account – but now what? Do you know how to leverage them to grow your business? Now that social media is here to stay, we’ll go beyond the basics of tweeting, tagging and friending. You’ll gain practical tips for growing and marketing your business using social media – whether retail, manufacturing, consulting, fashion, ecommerce and beyond. This session assumes you are already familiar with basic social media tools and want to take your knowledge to the next level.

Protocol – The Art of Doing Business Well  with Cheryl Walker Robertson

Ask yourself: Does your business card say all that it needs to say?  Do you get real results when you network?  Are you presenting yourself and your business in the best light to that bank loan officer, potential investor or promising new client?  Have you done all your advance work for that upcoming business trip or conference?   How do you prepare for doing business overseas, without causing an international incident?  More than just good manners, Protocol maven Cheryl Walker-Robertson has tips you’ve never thought of for every aspect of doing business with style, in ways that seal the deal!
