What is Urban Rebound?

Urban Rebound is a business growth initiative for women business owners in the greater Los Angeles, Detroit and Charlotte, NC, regions funded by a grant from the Sam’s Club Giving Program.

Urban Rebound was developed to bring 100 women business owners from each of these areas to $250,000 in annual revenues within 12-18 months using a proven combination of professional business coaching and education, confidence building, and support from a strong community of peers. 

The Pitch Winner Prize

All women selected as Pitch Winners at the Urban Rebound-Los Angeles event on May 11 will receive a consultation worth up to $1500 with lawyers from eMinutes about developing the proper structure for their small businesses. For nearly 20 years eMinutes has worked with A-list celebrities, musicians, and athletes in building the best strategies around business incorporation and more. As part of the Urban Rebound-Los Angeles program, eMinutes lawyers will work one-on-one with Pitch Winners to review their corporation paperwork, determine whether those documents need to be updated or can be made more effective, and take whatever steps are necessary to restructure the company. For winners who have not yet formed a corporation, eMinutes will assist them in forming one. All Urban Rebound-Los Angeles Pitch Winners will be featured and promoted on eMinutes' gallery of entrepreneurs.

The Urban Rebound Awardee Prize

Women selected as Urban Rebound Awardees are invited to participate in the Count Me In Business Accelerator program, a 9-month curriculum designed to help women business owners with $50,000-$150,000 in annual gross revenues reach $250,000+ within 12-18 months. This program is FREE to all Urban Rebound Awardees and valued at $3000. Designed and delivered by People Biz, Inc., the program utilizes an effective combination of group coaching and training in business education, expert support and peer accountability.
