Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence is pleased to announce our newest class of Make Mine a Million $ Business (M3) Awardees!

These 50 women were selected as part of our first ever M3 1000 pitch competition in Denver, Colorado, on April 4, 2011. It was the largest ever gathering of women entrepreneurs pitching their businesses in competition, with nearly 300 women entrepreneurs participated in a day-long business growth event for women, which also featured a keynote address from leading women entrepreneurs like Carol’s Daughter founder Lisa Price and business education sessions.

That event yielded  62 Pitch Competition Winners from which the 50 M3 Awardees were chosen, based on an additional competition round involving financial, business plan and reference reviews. We believe these 50 business have the potential to grow into million dollar enterprises quickly, and we look forward to working with them on that journey.

As M3 Awardees, each of these winners are eligible to apply for an American Express OPEN Business Gold Rewards card with up to 50,000 Reward Points (terms and conditions apply); inclusion in our new group coaching and training sessions with other Denver Awardees; an invitation to join our exclusive M3 Yahoo community networking group, and special consideration for additional national and local public relations opportunities.
