Double Standards

What is almost every husband's nagging complaint ladies? From married comedians like Chris Rock to my own dear husband they all regularly talk, whine, laugh and shout about not having enough SEX. They say things like sex stops when you get married. Sex stops when you have kids. Men wonder aloud ( why during or after your a busy day/week/life running a business, taking care of children, parents and them, plus laundry, errands, bills, homework etc) why we don't want to regularly seduce them !?! Well I read about a new product Tuesday  in the NYT (For Female-Aphrodisiac Makers, Effort at Parity 9/14/10 http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/14/business/media/14adco.html that could be the answer to many a man's and woman's pray - the only problem is almost no TV stations or radio stations will run the advertisements for Zestra, a new product available to help enhance women's sexual arousal  Unlike Viagra, Cialis etc. which have brought so much TV time that every twelve year old  knows one of the side effects can be a 4 hour erection  TV stations, Facebook and even Web MD said no to the ads..... because they use the word sex and arousal. Talk about a double standard. I have a business and double standard busting suggestion for Rachel Braun Scherl and Mary W.Jaensch of Semprae Laboratories which make Zestra-  you obviously have  the money to make ads and buy TV time why not spend that $$ on web sites owned by women's businesses and women's organizations and ESPN?

Female Viagra is a bad idea

No matter what this "drug" purportedly does, it can't substitute for the things that create intimacy (communication, feelings of safety), which is what really turns women on.  Women can have the physical symptoms of being "turned on," but they don't act on it if they don't feel emotionally "turned on."

If you're just looking for the physical symptoms of being turned on, there are plenty of gels and creams that will create arousal without having to take a pill.  My favorite is Sliquid Organics' Stimulating O Gel, which is available at www.PrimrosePathToys.com.

Women need sex lives too!

I agree!  Our society readily accepts and even embraces the sexual nature of men.  But even in the medical profession, the importance of healthy sex lives for women is often ignored.  Even you couch a woman's need for sexual interest in terms of her husband's desires.  Hormone defeciency or imbalance is often to blame for low libido in men and women.  My company, the Youth Renewal Center is a doctor-owned health center dedicated to maintaining the physical, mental, and sexual health of our clients.  I have just applied for the M3 award...more growth in this field will help spread the word!!
