Isisara Bey: Journey Agent & Vice President, Programs and Education, Count Me In
Isisara Bey is Vice President of Programs & Education for Count Me In, and “journey agent” for the Make Mine a Million $ Business competitions and workshops across the country, and Make Mine a Million $ Business RACE (M3 RACE) national events. She designed and initiated the Count Me In Leadership Institute, as well as an upcoming series of entrepreneurial events co-branded by the M3 RACE and Sam’s Club.
Prior to joining CMI in September 2007, she was Vice President of Corporate Affairs for SONY BMG Music Entertainment, directing the company's corporate philanthropy, strategic non-profit and governmental relationships and popular employee enhancement activities.
As a member of the company’s government affairs team, she helped shape the Congressional Tri-Caucus by shepherding a consortium of the Congressional Black, Hispanic and Asian & Pacific Islander Caucuses and producing the first two Tri-Caucus retreats. In the arts, she fostered successful public/private partnerships between Sony BMG Music and Harlem School of the Arts, the Rhythm and Blues Foundation, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and the National Book Foundation, and has served on several of these boards.
Internally, she initiated and directed the Affinity Groups for the company’s African-American, Asian and Latino employees, and the Sony Music Symposium and Cultural Events series. She has a distinctive track record combining a uniquely innovative philanthropic vision, excellent presentation skills with best in class execution on a range of sophisticated projects and special events.
Isisara has a BA in Theater, an MA in Media, and resides in Harlem, New York with her teenage daughter, Makara.
